Hi everyone. My baby girl was born at 31 weeks on Saturday but emergency csection. I've been pumping every 3 hours to encourage my milk to come in but I'm having such a hard time with my poor nipples.

I'm using the hospital grade ameda pump. I started with the regular size flange but some of my areola was being sucked in and they got so sore. So the lactation consultant gave me some inserts which I thought would help but it's still agony when I start to pump. But now because of the insert I feel like my nipples are swelling in the canal and then rubbing. I can't win! I feel like this is affecting my supply too.

Any advice?!
