My sis in law is getting me the medela backpack pump. I’ve seen a lot of complaints about the medela bottles leaking though. It also seems ridiculous to not be able to find the nipples in stores.

Has anyone used different brand nipples and rings for the medela bottles? Or a whole different set to pump directly into bottles to store and feed that connect with the medela backpack pump? Or do you like the whole medela brand?

I’m planning to exclusively pump for this baby, my last was formula fed and only took tommee tippee her first year so my husband wants to go with another brand so this one isn’t as picky.

I need opinions please! I really liked tommee so I don’t know much about other brands! Also need bottles that will connect to the pump. I’d prefer to not bag my milk for less steps and less mess and waste.
