How Do Some Moms Know the Gender So Early ?!

I’m not a patient person at all and I want to know the gender already . I’m 13 weeks and was told I have to wait till I’m 18-20 weeks. I see so many post of women already knowing before 18 weeks ! They told me that because I’m not high risk insurance won’t cover a blood test and paying out of pocket would be like $500 . So did you pay ? Were you high risk ? ! I need answers please

I had my 12w standard scan for Down syndrome and during it I asked if he could see the gender. He wasn’t 100% sure but very certain it was a boy as he could see a little something. Again mines not 100% sure, will find out at my 20w scan

I'm 13 weeks as well and at my last doctor's appointment, they offered me a Panorama blood test that checks for down syndrome and other issues but can also tell us the gender. It was 100 dollars and insurance doesn't cover it, but it's worth it! Results come back in 7-10 days!

We are also waiting until 20 weeks, as insurance doesn’t usually cover the blood test for gender or anything! I’m super inpatient too but I guess I’m thinking of it as being more accurate through ultrasound at 20 weeks because everything will be more developed!! 😇

I am not high risk but was offered the Panorama test wich tests for some conditions like down syndrome and also for the sex of the baby, Insurance doesn't cover it and I'm still waiting for the bill but they told me it wouldn't be more than $150, and you can do it since 10 weeks.

Here in Belgium you are offered the NIPT test (blood test) as standard practice at 12 weeks. 
They check for three chromosomal disorders and also the gender. 
I’m just shy of 15 weeks and found out at 13 weeks that we are having a girl. 
But it’s only very recently that this test has been offered as standard, just two years ago it was an extra payment and on request only. 
In Belgium you see your gynaecologist and have a scan every 4 weeks from day one. And pay €55 per appointment. 
I’ve had 3 scans (from 5 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks.)

Genetic testing or an elective ultrasound. I'm getting an elective ultrasound at a private clinic at 17 weeks to find out the gender early. The place I'm going to charges $60 for a 30 minute ultrasound with pictures and a DVD at the end :)

O would check your insurance the lap tech tried to tell me my insurance wouldn’t pay because I’m not high risk ... called my insurance with cpt code provided .. 0 copayment no deductible
