What veggies to feed?

I’ve started giving my baby solids and so far he can only handle fruits because peas and greens beans make him extremely gassy and very bad tummy ache ? I want him to start eating veggies but don’t know what to do.

My dad’s a pediatrician and says start with yellow/orange veggies... squash, carrots, pumpkin, ect... they’re easier on the stomach than green ones. I also do avocado but that’s technically a fruit.

I've given avocado, sweet potato, and carrot. The carrot is a bit constipating, so I make sure I also give prunes or pears at the same meal.

We’ve done pumpkin, sweet potato, zucchini, butternut squash, yellow squash, cauliflower, broccoli, sweet peas, green beans, carrots, parsnips, red, yellow and orange bell peppers.

I cooked red lentils and frozen spinach and blended together. Made a super creamy, nutty flavored baby purée. I froze extras in an ice cube tray for later. Baby approved and packed with iron!

Also, maybe try less of the veggies? Like half an ounce for a few days to let his digestive system get used to it? When I started with oatmeal I had to initially feed a small amount every other day until her body could process it better.
