scars?

so I busted my forehead open about 6 years ago and the scar is really really bad does anyone know a way to fade or get rid of it??

my mom had a pretty nasty scar from neck surgery.  she used to get vitamin E capsuls, poke a hole in em, and rub the oil on the scar once or twice a day and it made a big difference for her.  if she stopped it would come back, and never went all the way away, but made a pretty big difference.
