Yes. I researched it and spoke with the doctors about it. Then with that information, I decided that the benefits outweighed any potential risks, so we got it done.

I got both the vitamin k shot and eye ointment for both my girls. Waited until 2 months to get the hep b though, they offer that at my hospital as well when babies are born.

It’s the law in my state. Either way i would never NOT do it considering the risks

After researching, We did the Vitamin K (for circumcision) but no eye ointment. My husband and I have only been with each other and the eye ointment is mostly protection against STD. They started giving to all babies around the 60s when STDs were a bit more rampant and less testing was done (at least that’s my understanding)

no to both. eye ointment is more for when moms had STD. vit k no because of personal experiences
