What are the absolute MOST essential items for a newborn?

Car seat, diapers, wipes, bottles & formula if needed/wanted, a safe place for baby to sleep, a few onesies or sleep and play rompers, and some muslin blankets.

My newborn is three days old. My most important thing is my boobs. So anything relating to feeding. Nipple cream, cooling gels, breast pump, breast pads, nursing camis.

Car seat, somewhere to sleep (bassinet, pack and play, etc), diapers, wipes, swaddles, burp cloths, aquaphor, 5-8 outfits, mittens (for the first month), safety kit, baby shampoo, bottles & formula (especially if having trouble breastfeeding), and pacifier.

Other than the basics like food and clothing. 
Receiving blankets, extra socks, nipple cream if you're breastfeeding. The to-go diaper changing pad is nice. So you can change the baby wherever you're at in the house. And that's about it.

We didn’t use 90% of the stuff we bought. (Swings, seats, baby gyms, bouncer, changing table, bottle maker, etc)
