men that never come up with name ideas?

but shoot down everything you suggest. do they ever start to come up with names as others closer ?! or do we go to the hospital with a list of 10 names I love and he hates? haha.

Omg yes. I get ridiculous suggestions or all of my good suggestions shot down. Mentally, I am down to two choices and he has shot down both of them. I feel a fight coming in our future lol.

My husband is the same way. He thought of Kiera and I liked it so we are naming her that. Then when it came to middle name he goes “you can choose” so I chose Kiera Grace. He hated it! I go well you said... then huffed and puffed and said ok. So we did a family vote to either name her my middle name-Marie or the name I chose Grace.
Marie won 🙄 
So although he was “being nice and letting me choose” I didn’t really get to choose lol!

I learned this lesson from wedding planning! I would suggest songs for important moments and he would say no to everything but wouldn’t give any suggestions. This was the only time I cried while wedding planning! For baby names I made him come up with a list of at least 10 before I shared my list with him. We shared our lists and agreed on 4 then slowly cut the list down over a few weeks.

I had full control of naming our first two girls cause hubby was coming up with ridiculous names but now that baby #3 is a boy I let him take full control of naming him with my fingers crossed that it wasn't gonna sound ridiculous lol but to my surprise Im totally in love with the name hubby picked out for our little guy!

I got set on a name and husband said no but then started suggesting stop sign or door knob 🙄 he finally said yes to my name and he and our daughter get to pick her middle name.

Yeah, my partner never likes any names and never suggests any either. As we get closer I keep warning him that I am going to end up picking the name all by myself after the birth if he doesn’t start liking a few. He reminds me that he wasn’t any help picking the wall paint color in the bedrooms either, like those are synonymous.

My husband is very stubborn with deciding on names thankfully with my first he agreed on a first name but would pick a middle name so I gave him two choices and he ended up choosing after he was born. This time we are pregnant with a girl and he will not agree on a name for the life of him nor suggest one 😒 I told him if he doesn’t decided I’m naming her what I want to name her at birth lol. My husband likes to make up ridiculous names so I just let him know if he’s not gonna cooperate by the time the baby comes I’ll just have to make the decision for us- and believe me- I will.
