Flat heads?

My babies ped told me her head is starting to look flat? But idk how that’s possible she spends most of her time on her belly ! Except when she’s in her crib for the night. I reallly don’t want her to have to wear a helmet to correct but this was a month ago he pointed this out and i can’t tell if it’s getting better or worse or not changing.

This helmet things was not a big deal 10 years ago. And those babies are totally fine and have normal heads. My 16 and 11 year old had flat heads as small infants, not one dr or Pediatrician told me anything about a helmet. They are fine now and don't have flat heads anymore. 
I strongly believe the "helmet" thing is a new way for providers/medical companies to make more money. I find it insane and I mean INSANE how many babies I see wearing these things now! 😳😑 ( I also have an 8, 2yr old and 2 mo old. Everyone totally has their own opinions and choices, but If my baby's ped told me my babe needed a helmet I would gladly deny it) they are fine. They grow out of that flat head stage ...

Its extremely common, My son had great head/neck control early on but ha d preferred sleeping position which cause a flat spot, we are currently doing a helmet and it really isnt bad, he doesnt seem  bothered by it at all. I would keep an eye on it and try to he position her is you notice her laying with her head the same way all of the time

Try baby wearing 🙂 just keeping them upright without laying down will help.
