Supporting Grief

My boyfriend's grandma has been in the hospital for a few weeks now and now the family fears the worst 😔😕

I've never gone through anything like this. My paternal grandparents died before I was born and my maternal grandparents passed away when I was 11-14, so their deaths didn't affect me as much as they did my older cousins and such. I also only saw my grandparents once a year, if that 😕

So I've never really dealt with death and with my bfs family going through it I don't quite know how to support him in this.

He and his grandma aren't super close, but he takes things pretty hard and I know if he sees his mom cry, he'll lose it.

Any advice on how to support him would be great 😔
