Sign Language

My daughter is 16month and I started teaching her sign language. She doesn’t go to daycare and I don’t want her to be left out on anything. So I started watching video on YouTube with her. And she started copying me when I show her and say them out loud to her. She knows Thank You, Please, Sorry, All Done, Eat, and Shoes. My MIL think she doesn’t need to know it. But i think it’s easy way to communicate with her since she doesn’t know a lot of word yet. What do you mommies think yes or no to sign language.
