Clomid for men?

We just found out my husband has low testosterone. Have any of you had success with your husband or SO being put on clomid?

My hubby has no sperm well when he does his business in a cup there was no sperm but they did a biopsy on his balls and they found sperm they said he has an extra x or Y chromosome and it’s genetics so our fertility dr put him on Clomid go see if he would have sperm in his stuff when he did it in a cup well he was on it a year and he had a couple the last time it was checked but we can’t conceive naturally we have to have IVF and here in Cali no insurances cover that and with them having to cut into my hubbys balls go get the sperm it cost even more it’s like a total of 35k that we just don’t have so we gave up 😔💔 so yes clomid is a good thing for men I think as it helped my hubby just not enough wishing u all the best and baby dust to u!

I am going through the exact same thing you are! We are also trying to find who is able to prescribe clomid to my husband so we can start the process.

My husband took clomid for about 7 months or so. At his last urology apt (last July) his testosterone was up to 900. However, when my husband found out his testosterone was normal he stopped taking the clomid because he did “feel” like it did anything. I have no clue what his levels are now because his urologist gave up on us... But I do think the clomid worked well to increase his levels just didn’t do anything else... didn’t help with drive, his ED, or improved energy/mood. 
My husband is 36 now, 35 when he took clomid FYI.

I know someone who’s husband had to be put on clomid and they conceived naturally my husbands analysis just came back and he has low motility, we have yet to meet with our doctors but I’ve read clomid is an option for that too.  Baby dust to you.
