My son is 15 months old and today it was lovely weather so I went out with him to the shop and decided to take him to the park. This for me is a biggy because I didn’t know if it would ever be too awkward , like, I don’t go to mum and baby classes and never have because I feel ashamed that I’m a single mum and have no one to go home to but today at the park my son loved it! My anxiety didn’t play up and I was glad I went out.

Am I stupid for letting my situation of being a single mum get in the way of doing things such as having day trips out alone with my son?
