Anyone doing big sibling gifts???

So when my now middle baby was born I brought big sister a big sister gift and I’m wondering if I should do it again???

My daughter is 9. I got her a small diaper bag and filled it with her mommy’s helper tools. She got diapers and wipes, hair brush, photo album, paci’s, and a cheap digital camera. I’m giving this to her at my baby shower. The day of I’m getting a big sister necklace to give her from her brother. She’s over the moon excited and wants to help so I know she’ll love it.

I have a 3 yr old. I think I'm gonna fill a little book bag with coloring books and crayons, an outfit and I plan to get her a child's camera from the toy section because she loves pretending to take pictures and probably some of her favorite snacks, maybe a baby doll.

My niece was 6 when when her brother was born. I took her out of class for the day and we went to a couple museums, the beach, the mall. Had an awesome lunch and just hung out having a great day where she felt special. Her parents also got her a gift. Nothing to over the top, just coloring books, a couple small inexpensive toys, outdoor chalk, and some candy. They said it was from her baby brother and she LOVED it.

I hadn’t really thought about it, my son is 10 and doesn’t really seem to care much lol. There’s a chance he will be with his dad when I go into labor and I asked him if that happens if he wants me to call his dad so he can either come to the hospital to meet him or come home early and he said “ummm no...I’ll see him when I get home” 🤷🏼‍♀️ he likes babies and I’m sure he will be excited when he gets here, but as far as right now he’s sort of indifferent.

I am. My son is two and it is going to be a rough transition for him to start sharing everything, including me. I bought him and the baby matching pajamas, matching swaddle/blanket, and matching big boy/baby board books.
