So I’ve been bleeding for over 2 months know and I can’t cope anymore. I’ve had the copper IUD since August 2017, and everything was going fine until the beginning of February. Since then I’ve had constant bleeding, and despite all the sti tests, pregnancy tests, internal scans and even cervical cauterisation nothing has helped. I’m at university now until May 10 so I can’t see my doctor until then, I just wondered if anyone else had experienced anything like this. Being alone and having no one who understands what this is like is awful, it’s putting a strain on my mental health and my relationship with my boyfriend and I don’t know how much more of it I can take. I got the IUD because oral contraceptives and the implant both gave me awful side effects so I wanted to do something non hormonal, but even this is not working. Should I just be celibate lol.
