Partner nervous about me having male friends ?

I have a good friend I knew two years before my partner though havnt seen them in a long time. Organised to catch up with him recently and my partner critised me for going to see “some guy”. Mind you my partner and I are TTC and I love him to bits but he is worried something will happen with my friend who is a 26 year old virgin? Do I have the right to be defensive and mad?!

I would ask would he like to come and meet him, because he’s your friend and you should be able to have friends. Your so, shouldn’t have to be the only male you know or communicate with.
