I am actually Dad, but I wanted to track my wife’s pregnancy
I am actually Dad, but I wanted to track my wife’s pregnancy. Our babygirl Marley was born on 4-4-18, after an unplanned c- section due to placental abruption. At 23 weeks we found out our baby had truncus arteriosis and would need open heart surgery shortly after birth. Mom wanted a natural birth; but like the super hero she is, made selfless choices to receive the epidural as the delivering doctor suspected a c section would be necessary and ultimately to get the c section because Marley’s heart rate was dropping with. Every contraction. Mom was 1 centimeter dialated but basically having contractions every minute, and still did not want the epidural. Ultimately she did what she felt is right for Marley, got the epidural and eventually the c section. Marley is amazing and we love her and I could not be luckier to have two warrior women in my life?
