Do you get cramps on your period? (Really painful or not,do you get cramps?)

Since starting birth control I rarely get cramps. I used to get painful ones most periods sometimes to the point that I could barely stand up but had to because they got worse if I didn't get up and move. 
No where near as bad as some people get but still not fun.

I used to have the WORST cramps. Every time I got my period I would have rather died. So I’d take birth control. Once I had my first child they didn’t happen anymore. Probably cause my body was like ok good try but we’ve been through worse.
