Be more of a girl?!

So... my boyfriend sat me down the other day and said he needs me to be more of a girl. He’s fed up of coming home to a mate. 
When I asked him what he meant his response was “just be more of a girl”. The only problem with that is I don’t understand what he’s trying to get at. I’ve asked him to clarify but he couldn’t tell me any more than that. 
Can anyone help? I don’t want to lose him 🙁
We’ve been together 3 years now - I’m not sure what to do!

That’s a strange and unfair request- especially if he doesn’t explain it for you. Does he mean your appearance or how you dress? (Which I’m sure is absolutely perfect however you currently dress and look!) Or does he want you to be more domesticated around the house? Hopefully you can have another conversation with him and clarify because nothing can change if you don’t know what you need to change. He should be accepting and loving you for who you are, so I’m really not sure what he means 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m not entirely sure! It’s not like I’m not lady like around him! I’ve always been a bit of a tom boy but nothing extreme, I dress feminine, get my nails and hair done, what I would consider girly things! Not sure why he just can’t accept me for who I am, even after all this time! And what’s changed suddenly?! Could he have met someone?!
