Still no period - could I get pregnant?

My son is now 19 months old, I am still breastfeeding him and my period has yet to return.
I would like to start trying again but I would really rather not wean him yet and I am wondering if it’s actually possible to get pregnant considering this.
Has anyone been able to get pregnant before having their period back?

Yes! I am still breastfeeding my 21 month old, never got my period back, and I am currently 12 weeks pregnant. Looking back the only change I should have realized was an increase in cervical mucus. We were so shocked and happy to find out. Good luck!

I got pregnant when my 2nd was 13 months and again when my 3rd was 15 months...both times I was still nursing and had not had a period.

my sil never got hers back and got pregnant with their 2nd, hes almost 2 months now 😊. You can buy some cheap ovulation strips off Amazon and see if your ovulating
