Cramps are worse when I use tampons?

I insert them the correct way, I can't feel them when they're in, I get the lowest absorbency and they're really small, but my cramps worsen when I use them! Anyone know why that could be???

I've experienced the same thing. From my experience, I can't really tell if the cramps are actually worse, or if it's mind playing tricks on me. I take Aleve, and it alleviates the cramping. For me, it's worth it not to wear a pad.

youre probably sensitive to the chemicals in tampons or something. you should probably try a chemical free option

I also get bad pain in my vaginal area and cramps if I wear tampons. I cant wear them, I've opted for pads. Now pads irritate me and now I'm going to try reusable pads and hopefully I will stop having any issues. In my opinion I am reacting to all of the chemicals in the disposable products. Hoping to get less clots by switching as well.

Mine are the same way. Anything that touches my cervix causes intense cramps. It only started happening after having my first baby and he was a csection so it wasn’t cervical trauma or anything.
