TTC: HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU?

Month 5 and feeling super defeated.

With my first child it took 1 cycle. To get pregnant again with second child we've been trying for 5 cycles..so so harsh. My therapist said its best to relax, the body doesn't respond well to stress. It's hard not feeling emotional, and every month you just know your gonna see a BFP but instead you get a abnormally late period and a bruised spirit.

I am also on my 5th cycle as well! Period is due in 4 days and I’m super stressed about it. I also am beginning to feel very defeated as well! I honestly expected it to happen quicker lol. I understand some people have been trying for 2+ years, but that doesn’t mean it’s not still frustrating for those of us not trying as long.

I'm in the same time frame as you, but don't worry it takes a healthy couple between 6 and 12 months to conceive. Baby dust

I’m also on my 5th cycle! I totally understand feeling discouraged! Just try to remember it’s normal for healthy people to take up to a year to conceive ❤️ baby dust to you

It will be mine and my husbands 2nd month trying after having a miscarriage. I hope it doesn’t take us long 😓
