Asked to be in the bridal party (bridesmaid) but never meet the groom?
Is this an odd situation to be asked to stand up for an old friend, we grew up together, but I've never met her soon-to-be husband? or is this becoming more common? It feels weird to me. I want to support her if this is what makes her happy but how can I do that if I haven't had a chance to check this guy out in person. (Posting for a friend).
