Hey so I was engaged for about a month and he just broke up with me this week because he admitted he wasn’t ready for a long term commitment (we dated for 6 months, he met my family, I met his, he told his family about the marriage and we planned to move in and get married next week, we were long distance). I gave this guy everything and he seemed to do the same so this came as a surprise. I took it wayyy better than I thought. So 2 days ago I made a tinder and within 5 minutes I matched with this guy from my public speaking class I was kind of interested in and turns out he was interested in me the whole time!!! (He didn’t know about my relationship because we didn’t really talk much) so we have talked and I really like this guy and he seems to really like me, we’ve been pretty inseparable (besides work and school) since.He knows I just got out of an engagement and everything. BUT school is ending next week so if we did start a relationship it would be long distance which he doesn’t do. Basically, should I just drop the idea or wait? No he’s not a rebound, and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that we matched literally right after I made the tinder and we were low key interested the whole time.
