Iui? Tell me your stories

Question

I just wanted some information from others who have had <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">iui</a> done. Like the process, how many attempts, how many failed and why.

I suffer from pcos and my specialist has mentioned doing <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">iui</a> and my husband and I are finally ready but I wanted to hear others stories

Answer

I have mild PCOS and leaky gut so lots of inflammation.   I've done 4 rounds of IUIs taking the drug Femara by mouth and the using a trigger shot of Ovidril to force ovulation. there's about a 20% chance of pregnancy for each round,  which is the same as sex but at least here its professionally timed.   I've had no luck. have to do 6 cycles of IUI before my insurance company will pay for IVF. Both hubby and I are healthy, except for my mild pcos...  good luck!  had a friend who got pregnant on cycle2, an aunt on cycle3.  consider accupunture.
