Rhinoplasty and Septum Piercings

I currently have my septum pierced and am having a rhinoplasty this year. For obvious reasons, I’ll need to take it out and it will heal over (😭) but has anyone had their septum repierced after rhinoplasty? Once fully healed, of course. I’m worried there will be too much scar tissue or something.

Also, yes I will be talking to my surgeon as well, but I don’t see him until October and am just wondering in the meantime. Ultimately, I’ll ask him and he’ll get the final say 🤗
