22 weeks with stomach pain- is this gas ?

My stomach for the last 5 hrs has been tight , hard, and cramping. The entire stomach up to my chest is in pain. It comes in waves but seems pretty constant. I have not expelled any gas. I'm not sure if this is gas or if something is wrong

I believe what you describe is the same thing I’ve been experiencing these last couple days. The pain will radiate in my chest and ache.. sometimes up into my back. I’m pretty sure it’s indigestion, last night I took 2 tums and within an hour it stopped. I’ve heard Zantac can be used, but I’m gonna call ob tomorrow to make sure. So far tums helped and I was able to burp...and that felt good

means you are  the opposite of me, i'm 22 wks and I'm  passing out gas every ten minutes, scared of sitting  with people . sorry my dear

I've experienced similar and my ob thinks it's gas. She said that because everything is moving so slow, the gas bubbles can break up as they are moving through your track so you may not actually expell the gas, especially if you're constipated. if you're worried it's contractions, try timing them and call your doctor if you're worried!
