How many people were allowed in the delivery room during the birth?

They said 2 where I'm going to deliver. I'm so sad because at the other hospital I delivered, there was no limit and my dad was there taking pix. My husband and mom were there as well. I really want the same people there. They said after 2 hours, other people can come. 😭😭😭 Is it weird to see what another hospital's rule is and consider going somewhere else because of this? I looove my OB though.......

I delivered in my own room, so I could have whoever I wanted. I only had two though.

2 of the hospitals I toured said 3. But I ended up switching to kaiser who has no restrictions. But I have heard from a lot of people the less the better especially for the drs cuz if something goes wrong and they need to act quick it’s hard when the room is full of people.

I was told I could have the coach (my SO) and 2 others so 3 in total.

With our son only 1 person was allowed and it was his daddy but that was because we had to go to the OR since he decided to flip breech but thankfully he flipped back and i gave birth vag in the OR but with our daughter they really only wanted 1 person because the rooms are small no joke but allowed up to 3 but again it was only me and him during birth

delivery room is as private as our bedroom (regardless the Dr or nurses)... only had my husband in the OR. after recovery, and had my own room at the hospital, we let the floodgate open lol

They said 2 but allowed as many as we wanted as long as they weren’t in the way. Plus they had like 20 nurses in there for no reason just to watch so it wouldn’t have been fair if only 2 people were allowed
