Reasoning for no TDAP

I am pro-vaccine but a bit nervous about getting TDAP during pregnancy. For those of you who decided NOT to get this vaccine during pregnancy, I'm curious to learn why.

At the moment, I'm more scared of my baby possibly contracting whooping cough than of the potential dangers of the vaccine during pregnancy (as whooping cough can be fatal to a baby).

I would love to hear why some of you aren't getting this vaccine and also, what will you be doing to protect your newborn from whooping cough?
