Cheating?
I’ve never been cheated on and i’m on the asexuality spectrum so my opinion is probably kinda weird on this topic so I wanted to ask all of the lovely people of CC.
My friend was recently cheated on by her ex multiple times. On the first occasion, she read her bfs texts talking to a girl and found out she spent the night. He claimed he didn’t have sex with her and they both called the girl. The girl said that they just cuddled all night and fell asleep. Her bf said it didn’t count because they didn’t have sex. I was SOOO mad for her and we both agreed that it was wayyyyy worse than having sex since that’s so intimate. However, I asked my boyfriend this same question and he was shocked that I thought it was worse. I saw it as a super intimate and loving thing, but he said that the guy was probably just cuddling with her so she’d want to have sex 🤷🏾♀️ Either way he agreed that it was cheating but said that just pounding the girl would be worse.
Of course all cheating is harmful, traumatic, and cruel, but personally which do you find more appalling and why? Do you value intimacy, emotion, or the physical more?
P.S. As I mentioned, I have never been cheated on, so please let me know if this is insensitive or triggering or anything and I will happily take this down!
