With y’all first pregnancies when did you go into labor and have the little one?

I was talking with one of my doctors about it and he said how it’s more common than not for women with to go into labor after their due date with their first pregnancies so I’m just really curious on if that’s true or not.

I was 6 days early. But, on all of my blood tests I had to take, it read that I was pregnant a week later than what the doctors thought. So, I was either 6 days early or 1 day late..

I had my daughter 3 weeks early but I had problems that caused me to contract the whole pregnancy. Once they weaned me off medicine and took me off bedrest my water broke.

It’s actually true. Most FTMs will not go into labor until after their due date, whether it be the day of, a few days after, or a week or two later. It’s more common for FTMs to go overdue than to give birth before their due date. I’ve been told it has something to do with your body learning and being able to hold longer. 🤷🏼‍♀️ When you have more children, your body is more experienced so not only can you give birth sooner, but your labor can typically be shorter.

It was 3 days after my due date when my doctor induced so I never actually went into labor without meds.

I was overdue but also had my daughter on her actual due date 😅
According to my LMP I was due 12/6/17 but if we base it off of when I ovulated, I should’ve been due on 12/8/17 and that’s when I had my daughter.
