who should send the first good morning text?

My bf wakes up at 6am for work. I wake up around 8-9 for work. he waits for me to text him first but I assume he's busy because he does manual labor. should I text as soon as I wake up? or should he start the conversation

Um....who cares? Would u like him to start the conversation at 6am? Is he working a job that he could stop working at 9am to send you a good morning text? This ain’t a battle worth fighting.

My husband leaves for work at 430am, I don’t wake up until around 7. If he woke me up just to say good morning I’d be pissed. So I say the second person to wake up.

I love getting good morning texts from my man 😊 he always wakes up before me but if I wake up first I will always say good morning to him ❤️

honestly he's probably waiting to let you sleep. just text when you are awake and he will respond when he gets a moment

I think as long as you say hi once throughout the day, that's fine. It doesn't have to be a certain time.
