Help? Pill schedule

Hiya, I’ve been on the pill for a year now and have my 7day break on the last week of the month..my prom is June 28th meaning I’ll be on for my prom and I get very bloated whilst on...I didn’t want to be bloated in my dress so I rescheduled my period break rather than continuing taking the pill which would stop having a period at all as I wasn’t sure if the symptoms such a bloating would still happen...I’ve now stopped taking my pill hoping for my period a week earlier than usual..will this work? Or have I just caused a mess?
