Today is a laundry day!

Carrie • I am a Christian Wife and Homeschooling Mother of five children between the ages of 6 and 22 years.

This baby is number 6 for us so I've learned alot over the years and hope little tips and tricks will help newer mamas! Shop consignment! On a trip back south (NC where we lived for 12 years) I hit up my favorite childrens consignment store and scored a few brand new sleepers and outfits for 75-80% off the retail price..BRAND NEW! I've also learned to be a minimalist so I know that I don't need a ton of everything...I bought up a few sleepers, gowns, onesie and LS tees or onesies for each size through 9 months. Aside from a few things like jeans/Sundays best clothes-I may have everything Baby Boy needs clothing wise for his first 9 months. And spent less than 100.00! All the clothes are being washed today so we can fold them up and store them by size! *Baby clothes at consignment are often brand new, some never worn and usually in great condition! Now We can focus on essential baby things and have no need to spend on clothes which will help save money by avoiding impulse buys! Family and friends who want to buy gifts know that we've got that category covered frugally! Happy Shopping and washing friends! I'll post a few pics of the cute and brand new ones when they come out of the dryer! Oh and go ahead- do some of your nesting jobs early so that you can rest up later when we are hot sweaty and summer preggo! So what are you working on today?
