How long do your bowel movements stay red for after eating beets?

I don’t eat beets so I don’t know the answer. But I fed my daughter beets recently for the first time and her poop has been red for days afterwards. And a little different in texture too. Also, she’s been pooping more often as well (sometimes just little red smears).

Any beet eaters out there have any experience with this?
