My boyfriend’s children

So I’ve been dating my boyfriend for almost 10 months. Everything is great between us and over the course of time I’ve started bonding with his children. The thing is that one day I would love to marry him and start a future once I finish nursing school. The problem is that my mother may look at him differently although she sort of doesn’t like his ways (they have different beliefs) but if she knew he had kids it ultimately put more pressure on our relationship. I’m a 20 year female living with my mother. My boyfriend is 25 and living alone. I’m nervous to say anything. Any advice?
