STILL breastfeeding shaming..

How is it that breastfeeding/not breastfeeding shaming is still a thing?? People are just awful and it’s heartbreaking 😭 I exclusively breastfed my son (with few bottles with pumped milk), and I was proud for being able to do so with so many issues we both had! But because of these issues, I chose to breastfeed in extreme privacy. I only nursed in front of my husband and my mother. Both of who were in the delivery room with me. And it pissed people off! Like it’s MY boobs! Go away! I don’t feel any feelings towards mothers who do breastfeed in public or any other feeding. Good for you! You’re awesome. You give your baby formula? I don’t need to know your reasoning why. Your baby is growing, and getting a full belly. Good for you! You’re awesome. You only give your baby pumped milk? That takes a lot of work. You’re so strong and determined. Good for you! You’re awesome. I can’t stand Mom judging! On top of all this, my son is now almost 8 months old, and he REFUSES to nurse. It ends in tears for both of us. It was a heartbreaking choice but I had to realize it wasn’t going to work anymore and I can’t pump enough no matter what I do, so he would continue with formula until he is a year old. And THAT pissed people off! My own MIL called me lazy for not trying hard enough! People give me dirty looks when I say he takes a bottle now. LEAVE MOTHERS ALONE. It’s hard enough with all these judge mental people 😞
