Yeast infection getting better or worse??

So I’ve had a yeast infection for the past few days and I got Monistat 3 cream formula. I used it in the morning which was a mistake but I couldn’t help it. I just needed relief like this is so miserable. It’s day two of using Monistat. I used it this morning and tried to lay flat as much as possible. Tonight I just took a shower and my vagina was stinging😭 but I got out of the shower and looked at my vagina in the mirror and the skin on my inner and outer labia looks white!! Almost like a layer. I’m scared I’ve never seen my vagina like this before. What’s going on??
