birth control advice

so i recently lost my virginity & i think it’s good idea that i get on birth control so i don’t get pregnant n stuff and ik there’s a youth clinic i can go to in my area so i don’t have to deal with my parents because they’ve always been strict about me not being on birth control or getting sti vaccinations (especially my mom she’s rly religious & strict) & i just wanted to know what methods of birth control u all would recommend and for what reason before i go to the dr so i have a bit of background knowledge
