RE Appt and Fertility Tests
Going to post my test to have here so it’s all in one place. Well sort of. 😬
Husband is to have semen analysis. He was suppose to do this months ago but got deterred. Now he’s on board. He can take it to the dr bc we live so close.
1. CD 1 Transvaginal Antral follicle count ultrasound AND HSG (checks if tubes are blocked)
2. Blood work on CD 1, 2, or 3 and will test for:
Estradiol
THS
Thyroxine (T4) Total - not sure?
Chicken pox antibodies
HBA1C - not sure?
DHEA Sulfate - not sure?
Rubella
Thyroxine (T4) Free - not sure?
CBC and automated differential RFLX - not sure?
Progesterone
Prolactin
3. CD 21 blood test progesterone again
4. Follow appt to discuss results 5/17
We also discussed doing the test where they check if your tubes are blocked but I’m not seeing it on the paperwork so I’ll have to call and check on that. Update, just called on this. They are to call me back. Update, they just called on this and fixed it as the dr did order it.
First route she said will most likely be Clomid or Femara but won’t know for certain until we see the results. Unless I want to go straight to IUI or
. Which I really don’t want to have to do. Praying all of this will be unnecessary. 🙏🏼
