UPDATE: cervical incompetence HALP
Firstly, I was transferred to a different hospital my regular OB transferred me for pre term labor at 29w the NICU here doesn't care for babies born before 32w.
So, my delivering MFM said He believed it was IC. this was NOT diagnosed. Literally just his thoughts, the hospital he is at will not perform the cerclage without a diagnosis or being at a cervical lenght of 2.5cm or below. As my current OB and hospital doesn't perform them. I seen my delivering OB at 16w4d he suggested the watch/see with the Makena injections, and frequent length checks. My regular OB is going on his advice. ❤
Secondly, I spoke to my OB at my Makena appointment yesterday, they squeezed an ultrasound in. All is well still steady at 3.2cm. & we will recheck on 5/10.
THANK YOU!

my daughter was born at 29w4d in 2016. I woke up to major bright bleeding went to the ER I was 3cm dilated within 3 hours I bwas 4cm with membranes bludging we were transferred 3hr away to a level 4 NICU where she was born the next day.. the high risk doctor who delivered said he believed I had IC due to
-normal pregnancy prior to 29w
-bleeding without pain
-painless dilation
I felt nothing until I was given piction (spelling?) to speed up contractions after I was 7cm.

I called the Nurse she said if there was no bleeding or contractions to just mention to my doc at the next appointment but I dont go back to the 10th....helpppppp.
