What's a good age gap?

Question

I had twins as my first children. They are currently 10 months. How close or far apart in age should the next child be? We just want one more and were considering a 4 year gap......but I'm missing pregnancy and newborns already. 
Help!
(This is specifically for having one more baby after twins. I would imagine it being different if I had one baby and then twins.)

My twins are 21 months and I am currently 9 weeks and 3 days pregnant. Haven't gotten my first scan yet to know if there is one or two in there. Once they turned about a year and a half I really started considering it. After that first year it really starts going fast.

My first two are 4.5 years apart and I think it’s wonderful!! They play so well but also have their own time. My son is super sweet and helpful at 7 and my daughter is a crazy funny 2.5 year old haha. Now I’m pregnant with twins so one big gap one small gap. I’m excited!

We’re thinking a 4-5 year gap. When the twins start going to school to not spend soo much on daycare/ diapers/ etc. we also just want one more after having twins for our first pregnancy.

I think it’s a nice idea to have kids close in age but the reality is that it is a lot of hard work! I am having twins and recently visited a friend with a 3 year old and 15 month twins (al boys), and it was chaos! It made me rethink wanting to have a 3rd child, to be honest! And the worst part about it was that the younger twins were well behaved while the older toddler was a nightmare! 🙈
