So I am 31 weeks pregnant and I have been telling my OBGYN that I feel safe doing a C-section because I have a fusion in my spine, exactly where the epidural will go. So I can’t have that. I have a two curve scoliosis, a lot of hip and pelvic problems and my femoral nerve is pinched. She has all the medical records. I go between her and maternal med at the hospital. Even the hospital has mentioned general anesthesia for the C-section because otherwise I just cannot get pain medication. I refuse to give birth naturally considering all the pain that I am already in. I was just wondering if anyone else has ever had a problem with their OB/GYN not listening to them and really trying to enforce something that I just don’t want to do. She’s really trying to make me go for vaginal and I’m just not having it to the point where I left the office in tears yesterday bawling my eyes out. I thought this was my body and my choice....
