Period?????

So I recently got my Mirena (never had one before got it a week almost two ago for my periods) before my period. AF was supposed to come two days ago, but I’ve had the worst cramps for those two days and barely any blood. The blood I do have is so light, it’s also old blood. I don’t really feel like it’s my period idrk either though.    I’m Very Confused.

I got mine the day I was suppose to start my period, and then I didn’t get my period for a few days but when I did the pain was really bad, I had horrible cramps. But when it was over I spotted another month straight and now nothing. I haven’t had a period since and only get cramping every once in a while. Hang in there and stay in-tuned with your body and call your doctor if anything doesn’t seem right.

I got mine inserted the 18th and I've bled everyday since then, more spotting but I haven't even had my period yet which probably won't come.

everybody is different. but you just decribed my situation. however my cramps were stronger with mirena then before. i went from 3day periods to 17 days and counting. im so upset but i hope this is it nomore periods after this...

I got my iud(Kyleena) the day my period was supposed to come, and after insertion it never came. I spotted lightly for about 4 days but I haven’t had any spotting or a period after that. It’s been about a month and 2-3 weeks since I got mine. If differs from person to person but I think you’re fine. Just be sure to go back for your follow up.
