I’m just confused

So I’ve been on the pill for 5 months. The past 3 months ive been having spotting for about a week during the middle of my pack but no period during placebo . I am sexually active but he never finishes inside of me... I take pregnancy tests at the end of every month and they are always negative . Could I still be ovulating or what ?
