Thoughts on using a Belly bandit right after csection?

Immediately (my dr and the nurses put it on me in the OR), and I wore it every day for at least a week, maybe two.

I tried, it hurt too bad. I finally got it on comfortably about a week PP but only while standing. It hurt too bad to sit and I definitely couldn’t breastfeed. 
I’d recommend their C section panty instead! It’s much more flexible but still sucks you in. Just wear it like spanx, not like panties.

I didn’t want anything touching me right after. I always felt like my incision would reopen if I had too much pressure, but I did use something starting around 3 weeks after.

I got one immediately after I had my son but have only worn it a handful of times (I’m 6.5 weeks PP). At first I was too sore to wear it and now I can only do activities where I’m standing or walking. Sitting, bending over, etc is uncomfortable and it’s not because of my incision. I’m fully healed and comfortable now. Also, my doc said it’s better to use and engage your core muscles which you can’t do with the belly bandit so that confused me. Not sure when it’s best to wear it or for how long so would love be to hear others’ advice as well.
