Lost Mucus Plug/Cramping

Hello ladies!! FTM here & just wanting opinions from other people who have experienced this! I am 37 weeks and 3 days! I lost my mucus plug about an hour and a half ago and now am having some lower abdominal cramps and rectum pressure (almost like I have to go to the bathroom but do not have too). Does this mean labor is near?? If you have experienced this before, how long was it before you were in labor? I don’t think I have had any true contractions but I have noticed my stomach will tighten, it just hasn’t been painful.
