Weird period?

Didn’t know where to post sorry but in March my period started early and lasted for two stopped for 24 hours then continued for another two, the same has happened this month but also have been experiencing some pregnancy symptoms along the way. I’ve taken a test and when it was horizontal within the time frame I did get angry and break it open and didn’t notice a coloured line. I can post a pic if needed. I just want options I’m waiting for my next period to see if the same happens then book the doctors appt.
