Elevated prolactin levels

Not that is is a big deal to anyone I just wanted to kinda rant again or get a little more worried.

I have now had a second round of blood tests done with a still heighten prolactin level. Now my doctor is ordering an MRI scan for me. I’m a little worried. The doctor played it off as if nothing was wrong, but why would I need an MRI scan. Just starting to worry a little more.

Just to start everything out I’m not pregnant and I’m not lactating. I have never gotten pregnant even though I’ve been trying for years with my husband. I just want to rant on here cause I’m honestly a bit nervous and scared. I went to the doctor last week and got my lab work done to see why I haven’t gotten pregnant yet. They did a bunch of blood work and I finally got my results yesterday. They said I had a elevated prolactin level and asked if I was lactating obviously I said no. I now have to reschedule to go back and get more lab work done cause they want to test it again. Now I wouldn’t be so worried about this but with me not being pregnant and never have been this is a little nerve wracking. It would mean that I have something wrong with me or it could be stress so I don’t know what to think until I go back to the doctors. The only thing I am actually frightened about is with some of the diseases that cause high prolactin levels also cause infertility. I don’t think I would be able to deal with it if I actually found out I was infertile. I want kids so much. Anyways I just wanted to get this off my chest before I completely push it out of my brain until the next appointment.
