Day 12 blood work and ultrasound

So! This is my first month on clomid and doing IUI. Went in on cd10 after finishing clomid and had follicles at 14 and a 10. Went in today on cd12 and she said I have 2 good follicles (one 17, one 16) and a few other small guys.

I got a message today on my patient portal telling me to come back Saturday for more blood work and another ultrasound.

Now, my question.

My LH level was 16.1 on cd10 and today it came back at 8.6.

My progesterone went up from 0.43 to 0.51

And my E2 went up from 262.6 to 435.1

Now my doctor has NEVER gone over any test results with me so I rely a lot on google, but should my LH level be dropping? Shouldn’t that be going up before my surge?

I am so confused and really hoping this isn’t a bad sign, especially considering the follicles are growing pretty well.

Any insight would be much appreciated!
